Dew Tour-Breck Day 5: Sage Kotsenburg Takes 2Nd!
Today was the 5th and final day of The Dew Tour in Breckenridge, Colorado. It was hands down one of the most intense days of riding thus far. Slopestyle was the main event and The CELTEK CLAN was on the main stage. CELTEK TEAM Riders Sage Kotsenburg, Sam Hulbert, and Brandon Reis were rested up and ready to take on the heaviest jump line of the season. Sam Hulbert had the honors of droppin in first, but couldn't find his line. Props goes out to Sam though for charging so hard all week! Brandon dropped in first run and put one down which landed him in 3rd for most of the day. He ended his day with a solid 5th place finish, way to kill it kid! Last but not least Sage Kotsenburg finished up the line up for the day and nailed his first run of two. His run scored a 90 even, and put him in the 2nd place spot, just points behind Tyler Flanagan. At the young age of only 16 Sage rode more like man than a kid. His run held up all day against a heavy field that included Chaz Guldemond, Torstein Horgamo, Mikkel Bang, and Haldor Helgason. He joined Tyler Flanagan, and Eric Willet on the podium and took 2nd at his first ever Dew Tour event! The CELTEK CLAN sends a huge HIGH FIVE to Sage for all of his hard work and for killing it! Congrats Sage, Brandon, and Sam!

Dew Tour-Breck Day 4: J J Thomas Takes 3Rd!
Day 4 of the first Dew Tour stop in Breckenridge,CO was home to Halfpipe Finals. Celtek Team Rider JJ Thomas was flying the flag for the Clan. The sun was out and the pipe was on point. The crowds rolled in and it was ready for the back to back 10's and double corks to begin. JJ tightened up his bindings and pointed it stomping his 1st run of 2. Laying down a solid and smooth line bigger than half the field went all day. The run landed JJ in 3rd, and he was able to hold on all day. After a heated battle which included the highest scored run in Dew Tour history, JJ was standing on that podium. A big congrats goes out to JJ for charging! Check out the photos below, and check back tomorrow for the 5th and final day of the Dew Tour Breckenridge.

Dew Tour-Breck Day 3
The number 3 played a major role in the 3rd day of the Dew Tour Breckenridge. Today was the moment of truth for every shredder in Prelims who were in the hunt for that spot in the Finals. JJ Thomas was first to drop for the Clan and made it count! JJ was sending it huge all day and found himself a spot in the Final Round! Once the Pipe Prelims came to a close it was time for the boys to hit the Slope Course. Sage Kotsenberg snuck through qualifiers yesterday and was ready to take advantage of the good weather with his run. Sending a jump combo of Cab 9, Front 10, to Backside Double Cork 10 landed Sage in 3rd place. He was able to hold on through a heavy list of riders to move on to the Finals Sunday. Celtek Clan rider Sam Hulbert will be joining Sage in the finals by holding tight in the number 10 spot. 3 CELTEK CLAN riders dropped in, and 3 CLAN riders stomped!

Dew Tour-Breck Day 2
Day 2 of The Dew Tour- Breckenridge is in the books! It consisted of everything from clouds, sun, snow, winds, sun, and a lot more clouds. This was an epic equation for inconsistent snow which led to a tough qualifying round. CELTEK TEAM Riders Aaron Biittner and Sage Kotsenberg were in the mix trying to find the run that will send them into the next round for the men. Unfortunately with the harsh conditions that rolled in it was almost impossible to get enough speed! Sage Kotsenberg made his way into the next round, with a front 9 to cab 9 into a backside double cork 10! Birthday boy Aaron Biittner had style for days, and the right tricks but couldn't find that speed he needed. For the ladies, Joanna Dzierzawski and Madison Blackley held it down. But just as the men's round, the women had speed issues as well. With Halldor Helgason snagging top spot in the open qualifier, and Marius Otterstad droppin regular and switch backside rodeos to double backside rodeo the Prelims will be a heavy one. Check in tomorrow for the latest update on Day 3 from The Dew Tour Breckenridge, and who will be moving on to the finals.

Dew Tour-Breck Day 1
Celtek is comin atcha straight from The Dew Tour in Breckenridge,Colorado. Today was Day 1 and it was heated from the start. The CELTEK CLAN was out chargin and stompin. JJ Thomas was dialin in Breck's Pipe and was zeroing in on his run after his top 5 finish last week at the Grand Prix. Aaron Biittner, Sage Kotsenberg, Sam Hulbert, Madison Blackley, and Joanna Dzierzawski were hitting the Slopestyle course and making it count. Today consisted of checking out the setups and finding the groove for the upcoming qualifier rounds. The setup was anything but mellow, featuring a hefty jump line and creative rail features. Check out the photos for an up close and personal look at what is really goin down at the Dew Tour! Check back tomorrow for updates from Day 2 and who made it through qualifiers!

Case Of The Monday's By Erik Leines
Since it's Tuesday and I'm just posting this I guess yesterday really was a Monday.
Case of the Mondays will provide you a look at what it’s like to be a pro snowboarder running his own company. Each week there will be something new. This is the first Monday that I’m doing this so please hang in there…
Since starting Celtek with my brother Bjorn there really has not been a dull moment. Here’s a taste of how it went last week and a few things that are on the agenda for this week.
Bird Pass
For about the past 10 years Snowbird, UT has been supporting my cause by giving me an Unlimited Season Pass to the mountain. I went up on Thanksgiving day, picked it up and took a few laps on the mountain. Thanks Snowbird! I ran into some good friends on the hill that day. Snowbird was pretty thin on snow, but regardless it was super fun to shred the white wave.
Mark “Deadlung” Edlund with 3 passes!
Hazards ahead…
Ben Pellegrino- Milosport co-owner & mountain icon
Some super exciting things have been going on at HQ. Celtek has been getting a lot more help than ever from all kinds of people on a day-to-day level. Big shout outs to Todd Sullivan, Kelly Gish, Kaycee Landsaw, Ian Matteson, Jon Spiris, Mike Park, Bjorn Leines, Keykey, Simon Larson, Dave Doman, Dustin Ortiz, Heath Fugate, Ashley Leines, David Carter, Paul Alden, Jun Kwak, , Mike Forester and the list goes on and on. Because everyone is killing it Celtek already has the entire collection for 2011 at head quarters right now. Here’s a little peek…
Blinded by 2011... the future is bright!
This past week we also got in some of our softgoods like tee’s and hats. Everything was looking really good. We haven’t had new production tee’s in so long… So instantly Jonny D and I started calling the team and letting them know it’s cool to come on down and grab some gear. Lil’ Celtek shreds Sam and Evan were first to get some loot. Other team riders got boxes delivered to their front door step, whaatt!
Evan Drage and Sam Taxwood. And they even said thanks.
Celtek is also in the process of making the company easier to be involved with. We got our facebook.com/celtekclan up and running about 2 weeks ago. Our goal for November was 2000 fans. Because so many rad people reached out we had 2000 fans in 4 days, totally blowing our minds. Even now, Celtek would like to reach out and get involved with more people, so we are planning on using facebook more and more to connect with everyone. So please, join us on facebook.com, and if you would, invite your friends to become fans. Celtek needs you! We want to share this brand with as many people as possible.
Thanks Celtek FANS!
That is it for this week. I will have some shiz to share with you next Monday. This week we are doing a team photo shoot at Celtek, building a trade show booth, and making some POP. I hope you have a great week!
- Erik
